Though the recipe is popular as Butter Chicken the original and Authentic Indian name of the dish is “MURG MAKHANI” or “MURG MAKHANWALA”. ‘Murg’ is an Indian word means Chicken and ‘Makhan’ means Butter. And ‘Makhanwala’ meaning is With Butter.
