The easiest way to make this pulao rice within few minutes for any party day.
Pulao Rice with Rose saffron flavour an authentic Persian Recipe
- 2 Cup Basmati Rice
- 2 Tblsp Ghee or clarified butter
- 3 Tbs Roe water
- 2 Tblsp Raisins
- 1 Tblsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tblsp Salt
Real saffron (soaked in 1/2 Tblsp hot water)
Rose petals Few for decoration
Boiled basmati rice with water with a pinch of salt for 10 mins then strain all the water from rice when rice is properly cooked.Now take 1 cup of rice mix the rice with saffron water and ½ tbsp sugar, salt,1tbsp rose water and keep the mixture aside.Now take the rest of rice and mix salt,1tbsp sugar and Rosewater with it.
Take a pot Layered the two colour of Rice into the pot and add 3tblsp ghee on top and cover the pot with a wet towel and put the pot in very low flame for 5 mins.After 5mins open the cover and decorate this dish with Raisins and few rose petals. Serve with any veg or non-veg curry.
