Ingredients
  • 5Big CrabesWashed and Cleaned
  • 1Big Onion chopped
  • 1Big Tomato chopped
  • 5Cloves of Garlic Chopped
  • 2Big Green chillies deseeded and chopped
  • 5Fresh Curry leaves
  • 1/2Cup Freshly grated coconut
  • 1Tsp Fennel seeds
  • 1Tsp Black Peppercorns
  • 1/4Cup Coconut milk
  • 1/2Tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1Tsp Sri lankan curry powder
  • 1Pinch Sugar
  • 1Tsp Saltor salt as per your taste
  • 1Cup of Hot Water
  • 1Tbsp Coconut oilor any oil of your choice
Instructions
  1. Take a pic soup pot.
  2. Make the pot heat enough over the medium heat.
  3. Now put 2 tbsp oil into the pot.make the oil hot enough too.
  4. Once the oil hot enough put chopped onions, curry leaves,chopped garlic cloves,green chillies,tomatoes into the pot and fry all the ingredients for 5 mints over the medium heat.
  5. Just after 5 mins add crabs and sri lankan curry powder,coconut milk and hot water into the pot mix well .And fry for 10 mins.If required add little water to the cooking pot.In between 10 mins make the roasted curry powder for this recipe.
To make the roasted Curry powder for this Recipe
  1. Take a frying pan.Make the pan heat then put Freshly grated coconut,Fennel seeds,Black peppercorns and Mustard seeds in to the pan.Now dry Roast all the ingredients for 4-5 mins only.Or you can dry roast all the spices in a microwave.
  2. When roasting process done blend all the spices into a blender and blend well until its became take a powder like texture.
  3. After 10 mins add salt sugar and the roasted curry powder to the pot.Mix well and fry for 5 mints.Just after 5 mins sri lankan curry crab recipe will be ready to serve.
  4. Decorate with curry leaves and Serve this dish with hot steamed rice or bred of your choice.
